Driving North this week, I encountered many signs of fall.
I allowed myself extra time to drink in scenes like this … one of yellows and oranges popping against a startling September sky:
I saw reds and golds and every color in between:
There were pumpkins and mums, bears and old pickup trucks:
And of course, apples… loads and loads of apples:
But this, this was the sign worth turning around for:
“Fall has always been my favorite season. The time when everything bursts with its last beauty, as if nature had been saving up all year for the grand finale.”
